A Web Platform Designed with the Web Team in Mind

Seeking to save time and money on managing its website, the EDS web team examined content management systems from several vendors, but could not find a product that provided both flexibility and full control over an entire website. If one of their goals was to be on the forefront of web standards, then their website management needed to reflect that quality. They needed a system that could get them there.

In 2004, EDS asked Innovative Way to build a forward-thinking solution that would meet their needs.

The Results

  • We created and deployed the CrossLink™ platform in 2004, giving EDS and its Web team full control of their website content.
  • The EDS Web team won the 2004 International "Stevie" Business Award for "Best Corporate Home Page."
  • Became the best-in-class website for professional services in 2007 (scored against IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, etc.), according to independent research firm siteIQ.
  • HP retains use of CrossLink to manage the business unit website, HP Enterprise Services.
  • HP has expanded the use of CrossLink to include: intranets, sales pursuits, contract generators, and more.
